Kaden BBALL

Signing kids up for sports is a hard thing for me because you have to THINK AHEAD.
I'm not so good at that.
I'm really good at living in the here and now, focusing on the craziness of the moment.
This presents a problem because in signing up for sports you have to think a season ahead, which is like a few months and my brain has difficulties doing that.

After I heard that Jr. Jazz Basketball had already started I felt terrible.
All the boys in the neighborhood were on a team together and the coach was one of the dads.
Because it's a no stress sort of league and the coach was super nice I was able to work things under the table a little and get Kaden onto the team half-way through the season.

Whew!
Granted, he had missed a few games already but he didn't know any different and still had a blast.

He was with all his little dude friends who ride their bikes around the neighborhood picking each other up to play neighborhood games together.  They are a cool little group of friends which made playing on a team together super fun!

 I love this picture.
I love his long shorts and untucked jersey, dark mid-calf socks and high tops which makes Kaden look like a little person with super short legs...
but yet super tough like you shouldn't mess with him.

The last game Grandpa and Marc came to support and cheer.
We loved having them.
We loved living close enough that they could drive out and watch Kaden be awesome on the basketball court.
Yippee for Kaden!
