Well, if you haven't been able to tell by now through our Blog, or Facebook or Instagram, we are big fans of the Utah based boy band
Beyond5.
When we heard that they were having a concert closer to us in South Jordan we jumped on it, got tickets and started the count down.
If you haven't heard of them
you will.
Not only are they super cute
but they are VERY talented
and really really nice teenage boys.
We pulled out our B5 shirts and went off to the concert.
(we brought our adopted daughters, Alex and Raegan with us too.)
And, thanks to our great friend Tyler who arranged tickets for us for the VIP meet and greet before the show.
The girls were dying when we walked through the line to say Hi to the band and they said, "hey haven't we seen you before?" That made them feel so special.
Alex submitted this picture to the contest and was chosen at intermission as a winner in their photo contest. She got a free CD. Awesome pic!
I told them just because I'm a mom doesn't mean that I can't be a fan too. I'm a fan because I am happy to let my girls be freaks about them. I am thrilled to blast their music through my house because of the happy, positive message. Plus, I'm wearing my shirt for cryin' out loud!
Yes, I am a fan so I wanted my own picture.
Emmy also felt a need to get her own photo.
(just as a side note, Kaden was there but felt embarrassed to walk through the line to say Hi to them. He gave me a card to have the guys sign and said, "tell them I said Hi and I want to be a Beyond5 guy when I grow up."
Then, they performed 1 song for the few elite VIP'ers.
Before the show the girls here waiting in anticipation.
Tyler came out to do the opening shpiel. It was fun to see him out there on stage. He doesn't look too thrilled that I'm taking pictures of him...
Kaden brought his money to buy a souvenir and he picked this awesome bag.
Because the girls are freaks they wanted to go through the line again after the show to say Hi again and get more stuff signed.
All Emmy wanted was a hug from Patch
and she got it!
Thanks Beyond 5! You're awesome.
Driving home that night as the music shook the car windows everyone was still very hyper, but they were also a tad melancholy...
In February Beyond 5 is moving to Nashville to make it big... to tour the country... to become famous.
We won't get to see them for a long time
but just be fans from a distant.
It was an awesome night and concert.
Keep a look out for these guys, soon they'll be coming to a city near you!
