Ring out Wild Bells

New Year's Eve was super fun thanks to the Brinkerhoffs inviting everyone over.
We had so much delicious food that we nearly had to play "Fat Dog" instead of playing games.
Heather put together this adorable photo booth for us to snap pictures of ourselves...

It's hard as your kids get older cause they want to make plans.
It's not on the top of their list to hang out with their mom, but I was grateful that Maryn put her friends off so that I could have her with me for the first 1/2 of the night.  Ady was babysitting, so I just had 3 of my littles.

We played a super crazy and intense game with M&M's, dice, straws, sucking and super competitive people.
The new-comers finally got the hang of it.

Kaden's sucking away before Heather get's doubles.
Emmy is going crazy too.
We kept our straws to play the Ping Pong game.  It had to do with blowing too which left many light-headed.
These pictures are terrible because everyone's moving so fast.  Look at Maryn blowing her straw with all the heavy-weights... James, Tyce, Taylor and Matt.  Go Maryn!
They are moving so fast you can't even tell what they are doing... but blowing that ping pong ball to keep it on the table.
I knew it!  She does have a lot of hot air!!
Kids played New Year's Eve BINGO.
At 9:00 we left that wild and crazy party so that Maryn could go to her party with friends and Emmy was dropped off to help a friend babysit.  So, it was just me and Kaden left.  We watched a little football together and whatever else we could find on t.v. to pass the hour before the ball dropped.
We took a picture of our feet to show how cozy we were.
As the time got closer we had to take a picture of ourselves to prove to the other one that we weren't tired and were NOT going to fall asleep before midnight came.  Kaden was determined, but I could have easily sacked out on the couch.  I tried to stay strong for him.
Yippee!!  Midnight finally came!
We brought out the bubbly and the sparklers.
Happy New Year!!!
Just me and Kado!
Had to get a New Year's picture with these 2 in the morning (more like afternoon).
Ady and her crazy, cute friend Raegan who babysat the night before together.
(yes, Raegan is the wild friend who jumped from our vaulted ceiling overhang thing.  I'm lucky she's didn't break anything.)
Happy Happy!
2013 was a WILD year for me in many ways.  It was a hard year.  It was a year of many new things, it was a year of firsts, it was a year of growth and learning.
As happy as I am that I survived it, learned from it, experienced it and glad to wave good-bye to it...

I have an amazing feeling that 2014 is going to treat me a tad better.
I'm anxious to see what is in store for me.

BRING IT!
