Happy Birthday to the GREATEST man I know.
Really.
I'm not just saying that as an exaggeration or anything.
He really is the greatest man I know...
on the whole planet.
We all think we're his favorite child and once again Marianne had to jump in on my picture with Dad
and this time it got violent.
I might have caused some major pain to Marianne's second finger there, but she deserved it!
Grandpa with his 2 and only grandsons.
After a super lovely dinner on Sunday with the whole family we surprised Dad with a REAL birthday party. We knew that all he would want is to be with his family, wife, children, grandchildren. So, we set up a big party at the church and surprised him.
Good Food. Good Company. Good Times.
Celebrating a good man!
We had fun playing games from our childhood, like the fish and bird game. Or the relay game to thread string up and down your clothes and see which team can do it the fastest.
That one made all the kids laugh.
We played the flour game.
Mostly the kids played.
We played in the nursery, and basketball in the gym. There was something for everyone and everyone was HAPPY!
We knew that's all he would want.
Grandpa with his oldest Grandchild.
He has loved and served this girl plenty of times.
This is one good man. He lives to serve. He lives to do and be and love. He is really such a good person. I am so glad that my children have such a wonderful person to look to as an example of the Priesthood, and an example of how to be a good husband, and a latter-day Saint. He puts everyone at the top of his list. He just wants to be with his family. He wants to make everyone happy.
and
he does!
Happy Birthday to 70 awesome years!
