Happy Birthday to my best Ady girl!
I love her sooo much!
She puts up with my snuggles and kisses just because she has to 'cause I'm her mom. She normally likes to keep her personal space open and roomy but I can't resist her sweetness so I barge into her personal space without much warning.
Her birthday was a weird one for me because she is officially a teenager.
Thirteen!
Yikes!
She still looks like she is 9 but her attitude changed over to a teenager almost exactly on her birthday! It's sorta throwing me for a loopdy-loop cause teenagers are weird. Ady has most always been the easiest child but since her birthday... not so much.
However, it seems like since Maryn has been gone from our home Ady and I have needed each other. She and I have become better friends. We make each other laugh. Seriously, Ady cracks me up all the time. She is so funny with the accents she does. She can imitate any one's voice and especially is good at talking like cousins Kenley and Cambri-- who are both 2.
Ady is always getting comments for how small she is... nothing new. She likes being little and wants to always be little. My challenge is still in getting her to eat. I don't think her body really needs a lot of calories or that she's hungry a lot so it's hard for her to eat. The joke with all her friends is that after 3 bites, Ady is stuffed!
She is also gets comments for how pretty her hair is. She does such creative hair styles on herself and rarely does the same hairstyle twice. She does have long and luscious hair that is so soft with super pretty natural highlights. She is one lucky girl in the hair department but it also helps that she is really good at hair do's. She sets up a hair salon in my bathroom when any little girl comes over. She just can't wait to get her hands on their hair and all the little girls love Ady because of it.
Ady was so lucky to have a visit from my 2 favorite aunts, Aunt Melanie and Michelle. They popped over to join in the party which was such a happy surprise for all of us. I wish I could spend more time with both of them because they were such a favorite part of my life when I was younger.
They brought a gift and everything!
Ady's menu choice was an Italian buffet. Sot that's what we did and it was delish!
The boys thought they would eat better in the backyard if they had a hula hoop to keep them confined and seated. It worked!
Texas Chocolate Sheet cake.
Sometimes Ady doesn't pick her favorite things because she wants to do what is easy for me and what will make a lot of people happy. I think she would of rather had crepes, but making this cake sure was the easiest. She is a super thoughtful girl that way!
Three of the 4 sisters... they always accidentally make faces when they get their picture taken, so this time they made faces on purpose. This is the Harston girls signature face.
Such lovely ladies! They sure look like sisters as they are getting older.
My mom there in the middle... if I can only look like her when I get to be her age.
Beauties!
The birthday cheerleader hold thanks to Uncle Marc!
Ady loves loves loves anything Chevron style. I found her favorite color in chevron wrapping paper so we used it to decorate everything with.
After the family party we ran home to host the Beehive's birthday party for Ady and Aurianna. Ady knew about it but it was a surprise for Aurianna.
We played games and watched a movie.
Such cute, nice girls.
Ady is one of my favorite people around! I love her guts! her teeny tiny guts! She is good at so many things. I love how she plays with my hair, or how she plays the piano so beautifully, or how she draws, or cleans. I love that everyone in the neighborhood loves Ady to babysit. (She is a saver with her money from babysitting and has A LOT of money stashed in my little safe where no one can get it.) She is such a popular babysitter and is loved because she plays with the kids and cleans up. She has been known to clean out pencil drawers and refrigerators while she babysits. Uh hu! She's my girl! Maybe we can get her to clean out my pencil drawer and refrigerator too.
She is happy and cute!
I love Adyson SO much!
Happy Birthday Adsie!
