Our ward did the smartest thing ever this year...
do Youth Conference in April.
We did the Temple Square Youth Conference where they provide a most amazing schedule and the yummiest of food.
If you want to do it just google it and it will answer all your questions.
It was 2 days long and I would recommend it to anyone!
The photographer of our group hasn't yet put together all the pictures so these are the only ones I have...
We did a scavenger hunt at the Flagship Deseret Book across the street from Temple Square. This was the group we had left over on Saturday. We had a really good turn out on Friday; and by really good I mean like 7 more than are here.
I Loved Loved Loved being with Adyson!!! She is has become such a good friend of mine. She's funny and so special.
Because of the small numbers of youth in our ward, the Bishop opened the Youth Conference up to include the kids who were 13 years old. Fortunately, Ady was turning 13 one week later so she got to come. It made me so happy to have this experience with her.
I loved loved loved going on the 1st graders field trip to the Natural History Museum in Salt Lake.
Look at these 2 cute boys in my group!!!
We had a lot of fun touching and playing with everything.
Kaden and Efrian trying to scare me.
I loved loved loved going on Emmy's field trip with her to see the University of Utah Ballet perform Swan Lake. They giggled at the men in their tights but we all loved the experience and the story of Swan Lake.
Ady was way too embarrassed for me to take pictures of her at her field trip. The 7th graders took a tour of the University of Utah as a college prep experience.
Oh boy! It was hard for me to be on that campus because I have too much blue in my blood but it was interesting to see another campus...
and that's what it was to me...
another campus.
Although I love love loved being with Ady she was too embarrassed to actually BE with me. I could see her and wave at her.
Love Love Love my kids! A LOT!
