When I think of us moving from Washington one of the greatest pains I feel in my heart is leaving the Jones family. It was a hard good-bye and their absence in my life is still a hard one to bear.
Kaden and J.P.... what can I say?
They were better than brothers.
They were brothers-from-another-mother.
Stella was my sister-wife.
We cared for each other and we cared for each other's children.
She represents happy times for me.
Everyone needs a friend like Stella.
What they didn't know at the time was their friendship was the greatest blessing to me.
I was carrying heavy burdens at the time that couldn't be shared with anyone.
Stella's friendship, love, help, happiness, spontaneity and strength came at a time in my life when I needed her SO much.
It definitely was a gift straight from God!
My children were blessed from it.
I was able to carry my load because of Stella and her strength,
and she didn't even know it.
Since we hadn't seen them since we moved we were so excited when we heard they were coming to town and had a few hours to see us.
We joined them at the Quarry Rock Climbing place in Draper.
It was a grand reunion.
All the kids were super rock climbing champs!
Ady went up the big walls a trillion times.
Emmy surprised me by going up the different walls 1/2 trillion times.
Parker strapping Kaden, love his awesomeness too.
Parker, such a great man!
It sounds weird to say but I felt his Priesthood power as he talked to me and gave me a pep talk.
Stella and I were the belayers. It gave us some stress and we had to focus on our jobs instead of talking, but we made up for the talking with our smiles, laughs and hugs.
Not sure why I didn't get any pictures of the 4 girls who were cute friends too:
Ady and Morgan, Olivia and Emmy!
Why do I get emotional when I think of this family? Augh! Just looking at these pictures and talking about them makes me weep.
Love them SO much!
Miss them so much my heart hurts.
