We are Never Bored

The kids had the best time at the Shumans one night painting

with chocolate pudding

with their noses.

 

For Christmas we gave Marty tickets to go see Shrek with us

and finally the night came.

We made CD's and listened to them a million times so we could memorize the music and get super excited for the show.

It worked! 

The Shumans came too which made it extra fun!

The show did not disappoint.

If you ever have the chance to go see Shrek, the Musical you better go

or

you'd wish you did.

We had our second annual Portuguese dinner in Heber.

So fun, and so much YUM!!!

 

It grew a little since last years dinner; more couples, more food, more pictures, more stories and more laughs.

Abby was my date... ironically she has gone through the exact same thing that I am going through.  We have much to talk about.

I have been having the greatest time with my Young Women.  I especially love it because I have 2 daughters in with me.  We have been having some great activities that make us all laugh and forget our troubles.

We went ice skating. 

I was amazed at how great the girls skated.  I also felt like a super old woman skating.  My ankles would not keep me up and I couldn't even go 1/2 way round the rink.  It was pathetic.  But, I still love the Young Women!
