A little Here and a little There

Emmy was the luckiest girl in the whole wide world when she was asked out on a date with her Grandma and Grandpa.
They went to the library and read.  They let Emmy check out 25 books.
After that they went and got something to eat.
I think Panda Express was her place of choice.
She sure felt special and loved after that date.
Maryn was put in charge of something to make for Sunday dinner.  Of course it wasn't until 10:30 on Saturday night that she realized that she needed some ingredients.
I was already in my jammie pants and did not want to go out into the snow
but I put my boots on and a scarf anyway and made her come with me.
I really did get some stares from the teenagers who were shopping that late at night.
Maryn couldn't decide whether to be embarrassed or think I was totally cool.
I was too tired to care.
 Ady giving Milo a bath.
Every night as I was tucking in all the living creatures in my home I would include the 2 hamsters.  Every night, without fail I would peak at them to find they were wide awake climbing their cages.  Seriously, this was every single night.  It was like they really thought they could bite their way through the metal bars.  I've heard hamsters are escape artists but really... maybe they are just dumb too.  They were biting frantically on their bars trying to get out.  They didn't see the box that was on top of the their cages either.   It was a hopeless cause but I admired their determination.  I would whisper a "nighty night"  and encourage them to "just get on your wheel like normal hamsters do."
Ady has a white board.  She writes everything on it from her morning schedule to homework assignments to quotes.  Sometimes I find things on it that just make me giggle.
This was one of those times.
Having spaghetti dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's house one night Ady got the plate that was just a little bit slippy slidy.  As she turned around to go sit at the table her spaghetti didn't stop turning and it slid right off her plate onto the floor.  It was pretty slick!
Emmy worked hard on her science project report on Bald Eagles.  I was really proud of her doing it ALL by herself.  She didn't want my help one bit and I was happy to see her creativity in designing her board.  Then I went to school and saw ALL 3 classes of 4th graders displaying their science project report.

Every single student had done their report on the bald eagle too.
It just seemed weird.
I'm not prejudice at all but I thought Emmy's board was the best!
