We made it home from Zion's in time to paint Easter eggs with the family.
The artsy craftsy side of everyone really comes out with the all the variety of dyes,
rubber bands
crayons
melty wax stuff
glitter
stickers
string
paint
parsley and panty hose
and much more.
The uncles are always the winners with their Easter Egg cleverness.
We did our hunt this year on Saturday in an effort to make Sunday more Christ-Centered.
I liked that.
It was a glorious day!
There's something about sitting outside with sunshine,
good conversation and happy kids around that makes me a content mom.
The kids woke up before me so I didn't get a great picture of what the Easter Bunny did at Marty's house...
He tied string to the kid's beds
then wound string around the whole house,
upstairs and downstairs
finally finding that child's Easter Basket in a crazy hiding spot.
It was a mess of yarn everywhere.
Emmy was pleased with her cute-as-a-button pink dress, hair flower and tinker bell watch.
The Easter Bunny could not have been more relieved that Ady LOVED her super stylin', long, knit Easter dress and snazzy necklace.
Maryn and her pretty blue, long knit dress and necklace were a hit too. Whew!
Kaden with his bug catcher and match box cars and crazy handsome shirt and tie.
Holy Cow!
How did I get to be the lucky mom of these beauties?
They are such special people
and so stinkin' cute.
We had a hard time getting the perfect picture.
