Meet the Amazing Mormons!

We were so excited to go to the movie, "Meet the Mormons" that the Church was putting out into the theaters.  Our friends from school, the Armstrongs were in it.  When the Church was filming it they thought it was going to be a nice little documentary that would be shown in visitor centers.  They had no idea how this movie would change their life and how big it would be worldwide through the Church.  There was tons of press building up to it so we wanted to be a part of it.  We got tickets to the premier showing in South Jordan where all the cast would be.
We were happy that we got there plenty early to eat and watch the excitement that happened before the show.  First of all we saw these gigantic tall guys and knew they had to be somebody important.  Luckily Marc was with us and told us they were Jazz basketball players.
Had to get a photo with my tiny girls.
Our seats were 2nd row from the front in a sold out theater.  We were just happy to be there.
Before the show started the directors spoke for a minute and introduced the families who were featured in the movie who were there.
Afterwards we had no idea the mayhem that would take place as these wonderful people in the movie came out and met with the audience.  After seeing the movie it was a privilege to meet these people.
The Humanitarian from India.
The Bishop.
The Mormon Boxer from Costa Rica.
The Candy Bomber
The Bishop had his kids there.  Ady fell in love with them and wanted to get pictures with all of them.  It quickly turned into more than just posing for pictures... lots of silliness.

Some of the kids who were in the film.
We were so excited to see Noelle Pikus-Pace there with her family to watch the movie.  Had to get a picture too since she had just been in the Olympics not too long before.
Kaden hanging out with the Armstrong friends.
Maryn went to the Armstrongs after the movie where Dawn was hosting everyone who was in the movie.  When I went to pick her up afterwards I had to get a selfie with my friend, and now star, The Missionary Mom.
And look who showed up at the party too!  David Archuletta who had just been home from his mission for a few months.  Maryn was a little star struck and cut out all the other kids in the picture.
We stole this picture from David A.'s instagram but it was on several other social media sights too.  All the Meet the Mormon people who attended the premier and was at the Armstrong's party.

Pretty special event and we were honored to attend it and meet these great people.
