Once the kids got out of school we had so many random events that happened.
The usual Harston sibling gathering took place in June. Always fun to see these lovely people together.
They're silly.
(only 4 of the 6 here)
They claim to be the most un-photogenic group of people around but I think except for the bad lighting this is actually a great picture of them and their cute spouses.
I hate yard sales.
I've only had 1 other one in my life time but I decided to do another one since I had so much stuff to get rid of and with a big trip coming up I could use any little bit of extra cash.
But, it's always so much work for little profit.
Well, it was TONS of work but together with the Shumans and a lot of help from Dad, we did it.
With all the stuff we had and what we still had left over after it was NOT worth all the work.
But we made a couple hundred bucks
and got some sunburns to show for it.
I had a heck of a time trying to keep my kids from pulling out clothes that they wanted to keep; or even keeping some of my old shoes and clothes thinking that someday it would be fun to play dress-up.
Blasted kids.
Emmy helped with a little lemon aid stand.
I have been taking part in a mentoring class for the past 6 months with an awesome group of people.
It's through Strongbrook who've I've chosen to work with in helping me make decisions about investing my money.
We had a Mentoring Graduation with all those who participated in this incredible opportunity. It was held at Kris Krohn's home who is the founder of this company and the mentor who taught us so much.
Stay tuned for a post about all the amazing things I learned during these 6 months.
I invited Maryn and Adyson to be there so they could be my cheerleaders.

Loved doing this class with my family too!
