The kids are going every other weekend with Jeff.
Occasionally there is 1 that just wants to stay home with me
which I love and will never turn away.
Ady wanted to stay with me and make caramels.
We never have made caramels before so we looked up a yummy recipe and began.
As is typical when cooking we didn't have one of the ingredients so I went out on a rainy night to get it.
After we began we realized again that we needed another ingredient. Dang.
So I went out again.
But in the end it was worth it.
'cause Ads and I were having FUN.
Our caramel didn't turn out how we wanted,
but it still turned into a fantastically rich and runny caramel syrup.
Delicious! We couldn't stop eating it out of our jar but it also was marvelous over ice cream or pancakes or fruit.
More fun Family Home Evenings with the Christensens.
This one was at the Draper Temple.
This Family Home Evening was a great lesson given by Jana.
The kids had to act out a scripture and everyone else had to guess it.
Mckay and Maryn were really getting into their parts.
Love all these kids when they get together.
They think they're cousins.
There was a Hill Cumorah Pageant reunion that we went to.
Maryn and Mimi were teeny tinys together for several years at the Pageant.
Now they're big, cute teenagers.
Michael Campbell and I were the pianists who played awesome duets together.
He also sang most marvelously as I accompanied him.
As a teenager I didn't appreciate the amazing talent of this guy.
All I knew was that I was honored to be asked to play for him.
Me with Sherri and Koni and Marty.
Oh, so many Pageant memories with these friends.
Love Koni.
The miracle of our friendship is that finally we are living close together.
We continued to spend as much time as possible holding our little baby Lexy.
