Emmy's Baptism

Her personality really encompasses all of those names. She is so spunky and peppy and dramatic and energetic and yummy. This was her special day and it was super duper special thanks to the help of everyone in the family.

She wanted to get baptized in Utah so the family could be a part of the special day. The family members that were present were The Johnsons, Brinkerhoffs, Ericksons, Eyrings, and Suttons. The friends that came were the Halladays (best friends from across the street) and the Stringhams (best friends from California). Her primary teacher from my parents ward was also there as well as the bishopric, who I went to schoolw with. I'm throwing out an apology to anyone in Utah who didn't get invited. I've already received a few calls from people who blasted me with the agony of guilt for not inviting them. So sorry! It was a crazy time and we did the best we could. It doesn't mean that we love you any less.

Emmy Slichta got baptized on December 28, 2010.
The handsome Matheson boys.
(Dad, I've never thought of you as short before but standing next to your boys you look a bit shortish.)
Marty tickling the ivories.
My cute cousin, Heather Brinkerhoff apparently is into cakes. She surprised us with this adorable CTR cake. So perfect. So cute! Thanks Heather.
Emmy had it at the top of her list to invite our special friends, the Stringhams. They helped to make this happy day even happier.
Katie holding her ginormous brother who is 2 weeks younger than Ady's cousin, Kenley. We were thinking that Kenley was pretty husky until we saw Collin. Ha!
Kaden and Spencer providing postlude.
Emmy's "comforter" that Grandma, Marjorie and I helped to make.
Such a happy day! Emmy we are so proud of you!
Emmy wanted to play a little tune at her baptism. It was the first time we used our Christmas present, the Flip Camera. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! I know that our relatives in the East will also appreciate our present too. Here's the first of many videos. Yea!
