FALL and FARMS

We found one of our favorite pumpkin farms.

When Kaden was climbing up on the hay by himself he got kicked in the face by a little girl who was wearing big rain boots. When Kaden came running up to me all I saw was blood. His whole face was dripping with blood and it was already all over his jacket. I didn't know what happened or where the blood was coming from. I took him and we ran through the crowds. (If I had my wits about me I would have taken a picture because it was definitely a site to behold.) We ran to the food arena to grab napkins, I'm sure to the grossness of everyone trying to order their lunch. A nice worker lady helped us find a sink so we both could be washed up. And that was the end of that... Jeff missed all the excitement and no one even missed us while we were gone.

Maryn thinks she's big but she's still a kid.
The hay ride.
This farm is where all the kids come on field trips because the corn maze is made after the state of Washington. It's got all the highways and mountains and landmarks and we learned a lot going through it. We were proud that we knew enough about Washington to get us from start to finish without any huge mishaps.

Kaden wanted to pose for this picture. He felt like putting his hands on his knees was appropriate.
Jeff learning...
Maryn pondering which direction she needed to take us? or taking a moment to keep herself from having an accident.

True to her nature Ady took forever to pick out her perfect pumpkin. She wanted a bumpy one.

The beautiful colors that line the road to our house. yummy.

At Family Home Evening we got all excited for Halloween.
