Super Saturday

A sunny Saturday in May in Seattle has to be seized immediately. Lots of weeding and planting and watering needs to be done. The kids seem to always find the fun in work.

After the jobs were done we took a family field trip to Snoqualmie Falls. The Spring is the best time to see these falls... taller than Niagara Falls even.

Who are the lucky parents of these cute children?...
...these 2 goof balls perhaps?
We babysat Kaden's friend, KJ for the weekend. He is such a good boy. The only problem was that we kept calling him JP, Kaden's other friend... or RJ or KC or JJ or PJ or DJ. (just other letters we threw together.) Oh my, we felt a bit tongue tied with him around.
We hiked the 1/2 mile down to the bottom of the falls and saw so many neat trees. Then we had to hike the steep 1/2 mile back UP and saw those same neat trees again.
We felt like we were in a rain forest with the thick moss covering the trees. It was beautiful.

Did I ever mention that we live in God's country? This is only 10 minutes from our home too. Why don't you all come for a visit and see for yourself. The summer is coming and that's when everyone comes to Seattle. So... hurry up!!
