The end of the school year came so slowly, but also filled up our schedule with lots of activities.
The 5th graders did an end of the year program showing off all that they learned throughout the year.
Emmy turned her dramatics down and acted a little more self-conscious for this.
I pray that she gets rid of that and turns on her dramatics back on because that's the real HER.
For the 2nd grade program Kaden was Paul Bunyan and represented the Polish flag.
He was animated and in character.
HOORAY for the last day of school!
Our favorite day of the year!
Driving to school we were all giddy with JOY!
Emmy's 5th grade teacher was Mrs. Benuzillo.
Although she was a good teacher it took them the school year to learn how to work together.
For Emmy the 5th grade was one of lots of growth socially and academically. Some girl drama with friends. Fun learning at the maturation program.
As super smart as Emmy is she's realized that if she has to work too hard then she's not interested in learning that subject.

Ironic for the smartest kid in our family.
Kaden's 2nd grade teacher was Mrs. Cohen.
She was named the teacher of the year at American Preparatory Academy.
She helped Kaden's brain explode with smartness.
She motivated him to take the initiative in getting his homework done, so much that he worked on it in the car on the way home from school.
Kaden also was a silly class clown.
He liked to make the everyone laugh.
I loved working the whole year as their class librarian coming in every Thursday.
Such cuteness there and let me spy on Kaden a little more.

Ady had a superb year.
Nearly a 4.0.
She worked hard for every awesome grade she got!
For her it's not about learning it's about the seeing the perfection of A's all the way down your report card.
Should I be concerned?

Kaden and his buddy Jackson, didn't plan on being twinsies for Field Day at school.
I laughed so hard when I saw this.
I asked Ady why she took the big fat Hymn book in her backpack to school on the last day of school.
She said because she didn't want to have a flat and floppy back pack.
Oh my word!
Her backpack always weighs more than she does so finally a day when she can have a lightweight backpack and she stuffs it with a 5 pound book.
Teenagers are SO weird!
Our traditional yummy shaved ice to celebrate the end of school and the beginning of summer!
Happiest day ever!
This was the first day of school
