Spring Break part 3

On Saturday morning we packed up our hotel room and drove 10 minutes to the Green River.  This was the same spot where a year ago Maryn and I had her parents retreat for West Ridge.  It was beautiful and a place where we wanted to just relax, sit and do nothing for a few hours before heading home.

That's exactly what we did.
One of my favorite thing to do is to sit in a chair, by water and while my kids play in the sand.
Sometimes I watch, sometimes I read or sleep.
That's what I did for these 3 hours.
They are happy and I'm happy.
Win-Win
Maryn brought some homework to finish up so this was a great opportunity.
Ady couldn't decided if she was cold or hot; if the sun was too bright or not; if she wanted to sleep or not.

Emmy just wanted to do cartwheels over and over in the sand.  Ady was her spotter.
Just lounging...

Love these kids!

We stopped in Helper, Utah and saw the largest miner in the world.
And just to document these are our heart-shaped rocks from our "Little Wild horse" hike
I actually went home so sad that this trip was over.  It was one of the funnest times we have ever had together exploring and trying new places.  So much to see and do and I was NOT ready to get back to the hustle and bustle of life.  This will definitely be a trip that we re-do sometime very soon.

Adios Amigos!
