field trip time to Camp Floyd

I always love to go on the school field trips with my kids.
It's fun to be with them,
I like to get to know their friends,
I need the volunteer hours,
and I like to go to the places that they see too.

Emmy and the other 5th grades went to Camp Floyd in Fairfield Utah.
It was a good time.
(I had my phone on the vintage setting so all my pictures turned out antique-y)
The original school house in Fairfield.
An awesome mom dressed up and played the part of a school teacher.

Making candles.
They got to try out the same type of rifles the soldiers used.

making bricks

These 4 girls were in my group the whole time and they drove in the car with me.  Cute friends.
Our teacher gave us instructions not to stop anywhere to get treats for our kids.
Emmy would not leave it alone that I got "Frosties" for Kaden's group when I was the driver for his field trip.  So, I must to document here for Emmy's remembrance, that I risked my privilege as a field trip driver mom for APA school to stop and get Frosties for these 4 girls too.  We had to pretend we were getting gas and then we went in behind a big truck so no one could see us as they passed by Wendy's.

I felt so naughty.
(maybe this is my confession and that I really feel very guilty about it.)
