Great entertainment

 

For Christmas I got my brother, Marc tickets to go see

Brian Regan. 

I love giving presents when they are a "one for you and one for me" type of a present.

 

For 2 whole months we were giddy just thinking about laughing to Brian Regan.  

We listened up on all of his jokes and stories. 

 

We were silly with excitement.

 

We put on our laughin' pants, ate dinner at a Mexican Restaurant and drove to the Energy Solutions Arena where the energy was high.

The evening did NOT disappoint.

We laughed.

He was funny.

We laughed harder.

We sat by a lady who laughed loud and hard and who made us laugh louder and harder too.

It was a great night!

Because they are good folk to laugh with we invited John Perry and Marty to come along for the fun.

 

Another favorite evening that I got to enjoy with my kids was seeing the Nashville Tribute Band.

If you've never heard of them you run out and buy all of their CD's right now!  They are some amazing LDS guys who belong to their own musical groups but have come together to create this band.  They perform inspirational LDS music about Joseph Smith, or the Pioneers, or Missionary work.  They are AWESEOME!  We love their music.  It's fun, it's got country flair and it's beautiful with a great message.

We wanted to go so bad that we were willing to sit all spread out throughout the theater because we bought up the last 4 tickets and that's where our seats were located.  All the kids sat by themselves but fortunately there was an empty seat beside Kaden so we got to sit together.

Love that they complain and whine about doing awesome things and then afterwards they are SO happy that I made them go!

That's the name of the game in parenting isn't it?

 

It's a good thing that they're cute.
