My little dumplings had a day off of school in February.
Coulda' been Martin Luther King or Presidents Day or something of the sort, but whatever it was we were SO happy to have a day off. School days are SO exhausting waking up at 5:45, making breakfast, including a green smoothie, making 4 lunches, reading scriptures, being cheerful waking up the little orphans by 6:20, uniforms, hair, teeth, prayers out the door by 7:10 to get Maryn to school and drive 10 more minutes to drop the rest of them off. Always a sigh of relief when they all get out of the car on time. It's a fast paced way to start the day. My natural man wants to crawl back into my bed and sleep for a few hours but I resist... most days... 99 percent of the time I resist.
Anyway, we were talking about our day off of school.
We had a fun outing.
We left around 1:00 and found ourselves at SWIG in Provo.
Have you ever been?
It's the BEST, yummiest place ever.
As we sipped our lovely personalized sodas we drove to Ice Castles in Midway.
Ah, shoulda' known that the rest of the planet would have been there on their day off too. We waited in line for an hour.
Once the sun set we behind the mountains we were freezing and partially numb before we even entered the castles.
But, yes they were so unique and pretty.
We brought Spencer along since it was his birthday and we wanted to be with him.
Do you want to see how many people were there, insides the Castles with us?
A billion.
Takes away the beauty when you see the masses but it was still fun.
Love these people of mine!
Ady defrosting her tootsies.
Some of my kids still don't know what it means to dress warm.
Ady and Maryn brought their little tennis shoes with ankle socks.
Weirdos.
Next stop was to the Waffle Luv store in Provo for some dinner.
Waffles, with Nutela, strawberries and real whip cream.
OH MY!
If you've never been then you better GO!
It was heavenly!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Scrumpcious!
Divine!
Not for the diet-er but definitely worth going off your diet for.
Sinfully the most delicious thing you'll ever eat... ever.
The building was cute too.
That ended our fun day.
We were exhausted by the time we got home and for sure not ready for school to start the next day, but that just meant it was a short week.
Always fun things to do in Utah.
FUN TIMES!!!
