The Saturday before my birthday Dad gave us some tickets to go to the BYU Basketball game. We were totally excited to put on our BYU shirts again, and it helped me in my quest to do something every day to celebrate my birthday.
We ate at In N Out before the game to fill our tummies and then had good energy to scream and cheer at the game.
We invited our special friend, Alex to join us. She'd never been to any basketball game before so it was fun for us to share in her experience too. She thought we were crazy.
We thought the game started at 7:00 but really it was 7:30 so we had some time to kill. What else to do but take photos of ourselves? And watch the cheerleaders warm up and be first in line to buy our popcorn?
perfect.
Oh yum, how many different ways can I say that I love these children of mine?
So glad that they bleed blue too.
I did have to have a heart to heart with them when Kaden asked, "Mom, if BYU is the church's team then does that mean that the U of U is the Devil's team?" What do you say to that, cause it could sorta be true depending on how you look at it. Ah well, at least he has an idea of where he wants to go to school someday and it starts with a B.

Cosmo helped us end our night perfectly! Loved seeing him and high-fiving after the game.
