Airplanes and Choo Choos

Ady is our teeny tiny eater of the family.
She isn't picky, she just doesn't like to eat.
It's a bother to her.
She doesn't find a lot of satisfaction in the whole process.
Besides that, last year in the 7th grade she took a health class that opened her eyes to
food, fat, sugar and calories.  It didn't really change the way that she ate, it just made her more aware of what good and bad foods can do to you, and to be a label reader.

Here is my 8th grader who is barely 70 pounds and should NOT be having any thoughts of what to put in her mouth.  She should just be shoveling food in no matter what, right?

One day at Grandma's house Ady had the good fortune of sitting beside her at dinner.  She was being her typical VERY slow eater when Grandma decided to pick up Ady's fork and help her eat.

It was awesome to be an observer of this moment... Grandma doing the choo choos with the spoon and Ady trying to avoid the incoming food.
Can you see how good Grandma is holding down Ady's hands and she is trying to getting away.

I say Ady, "don't mess with Grandma!"

As a mother watching this it was the circle of life all over again
and
it was fun!

It ended with no one getting hurt, and Ady finishing her plate all gone
and
they both still LOVED each other when it was all over.
