Summer Summer Summer Time Moments

The Young Women did a fun activity going clay pigeon shooting out past Eagle Mountain.  Some girls didn't like the loud gun shot noise, some girls didn't like the huge kick the gun gave you in your arm pit, and some girls loved it and shot their gun awesomely.
Ady, for one was so little that she couldn't even hold her gun all by herself to get a good aim.  Brother Johnson was a good teacher and helped her out.

I LOVED this activity.  I surprised myself with how much fun I had, and how good I was.  It was great!  Maybe I have an inner hunter in me that's dying to get out and kill something
(or someone?  hmmmm)
Anyway, I shot 2 out of the 3 clay pigeons and went back for some more shots later on.
It was super fun!

We got season passes to our new favorite pool this Summer.
I loved having Maryn join us when she could.  I also LOVED watching these 3 crazy girls hang out and bond over taking a thousand pictures of themselves.
They are some of my favorite people ever!
They invited our ward friend, Bri over to make cookies and deliver them to YW leaders in the neighborhood.  One leader was having a birthday party and invited the girls to join in with hats and cake.  They couldn't refuse and looked so cute in their hats as they rode their bikes around the neighborhood.
We all love to squish and kiss and hold Lexy.
She is yummy and I have to savor the moments I get her all to myself.
These people are truly my favorites, right here.
They love to document all the cool, silly and serious faces they can make together.
Had a happy Father's Day with my Dad.
He's so great!  It kind of looks like we're holding a General Authority picture of him, but it's not... I mean he's not.  But he is important and special to many people.  He doesn't care about any of that though, he just wants to be with his family.
And once again, Marianne had to come and ruin my Father's Day special moment with my Dad!
Arrrrr, she's rude!
Baby Kate was blessed!  She's divine.
One night I was all alone and got a call from my brothers inviting me to one of their "boys night out."  Of course!!!
We went and saw a great movie then tried a new hamburger place in Lehi.
Oh, we had a good time!
Not only did I NOT sit home, alone feeling sad, but these brothers helped me laugh and feel goofy.  They are GREAT brothers!
Sara, my super bestie from Redding called.   She was in town helping her daughter paint her new house.  I packed up some dinner and took it to them where we could eat and chat over their paint cans.  Love her!  So great to see her again!!!
Kaden was invited by his good friend, Brenner and his dad to go to the Bluffdale demolition derby.  He loved it and thought it was such a "totally awesome" thing to wreck cars.  Besides that their Popsicles made their mouths blue, what's cooler than that?  It was a  perfect boys night out for them.
We tried to be healthy with some of our summer snacks.  Emmy made this one and felt very fancy putting it together.
