Kaden did Spring soccer.
Because I'm not a good soccer mom yet, I don't really have it down when to sign the kids up for things. Unfortunately, because I was off by about 4 months I had no idea that this team had been together since the Winter, with this same coach. Hence, we missed team pictures and everything, BUT, Kaden loved it and didn't know any different.
He had a fun Spring Season of soccer.
Every once in a while we had visitors from the South come and cheer Kaden on.
It was so fun to have everyone watch him.
Here are some pictures to enjoy that were taken throughout the Season.
Keep in mind that a few pictures were sent to me from another mom who had a professional camera. She got some good shots of my soccer dude.
Kaden's favorite position was goalie.
Kaden's coach was so nice. His 2 girls were soccer players and now play for universities. He has continued to coach for the AYSO league to pay it forward for what soccer has done for his daughters. He really loved those kids.
As he passed out the trophies he said nice things about each one. His words to Kaden were, "if Kaden wanted to play any sport he could do it. He is a great athlete. He was always determined to get in there and get the ball and was a natural defender of the ball. Besides being a great soccer player Kaden was always the one I could count on to follow my instructions. He was a rule follower and I was proud to coach Kaden Slichta!"
WOW! I was proud that Kaden was my boy when I heard those nice words.
Thanks Coach Mike!
Grandpa, Marty and Marc took Kaden and Emmy to see a Salt Lake Real soccer game.
They became fast fans of this team, loving the energy, the drumming that never stopped and the super awesome soccer RSL players.
They even sang the team song for months afterwards.
Thanks everyone for the pictures and for taken my teeny tinies to this fun outing!
