Always Something

Special friends, The Debenhams came thru town for an evening visit in March.  The stringhams came on by for fun too.
We had dinner together and then sat around and chatted for the afternoon and evening.  But, I kept Jim busy.  I wish I would have taken a picture of him doing some projects around the house for me and then he and Christopher cleaning my garage.  I don't know why it makes me cry when I get such acts of service done for me.  I was SO grateful!

The only picture I took of the event was these kids in our messy basement having a Spa.  We loved seeing kids of all ages interacting and joining in on the Spa experience.

Finally the house behind us is being built.  Actually, there are 3 houses on our sides and back that are being built.  There is A LOT of dirt going on.  A LOT!!  There is also this giant dirt mound that the kids find JOY in, but I do NOT!!!  My house is dusty.  The walls are dusty.  Everything is dirty.  The kids track in the dirt and their clothes and hair are dirty too.  I want the dirt to go away VERY SOON!!!!

Uncle Marc had a big boy birthday and we had to have a party.  But, we knew we had to surprise him for his party or he would conveniently not be around for his own party.  He's silly that way.  Fortunately his birthday fell on a Sunday and fortunately we didn't have church until 1:00 and so, pretty early, but not too early we went over and prepared a big party and then woke him up.  He was startled laying there in his bed with all of the nieces and nephews staring at him and singing.  We laughed.  It was a yummy fun birthday breakfast for our favorite Uncle Marc.

No one will fess up to chewing thru this perfectly dandy Nerf basketball and spitting out all the pieces in the car...
drives me crazy!!!!!
