I always love Mother's Day and this year was no exception.
The kids woke up early all on their own, and made a delectable breakfast for me.
Love their cute faces.
Then, Sunday dinner with the whole family was great as usual.
Grandma got into a tickle fight with the Kaden and Spencer.
And I got to hug and kiss my teeny tiny babies.
And then my favorite thing ever...
Lotion rubbing stations all over the living room.
Everyone got involved...
No matter the age or size
or
if you were a mother or not.
All the moms.
Love my mom!
She is practically perfect in every way
always has been
and always will be.
And I love being a Mom.
I'm still on the road to becoming "practically perfect in every way" like my mom
but these special people never let me stop trying.
I wake up every day for them
and
go to bed exhausted every night for them.
And they are definitely worth it.
Love them to pieces.
I will put a little plug in here for my Washington ward.
As I sat in my new Relief Society at church today
I ached to see my Washington ward friends.
This is the favorite Sunday of the year for those ladies and I texted them during my Relief Society lesson telling them how lucky they are and how badly I missed them.
(remember? buffet of desserts, center pieces of chocolate, round tables for chatting, primary children singing, lovely message from the Bishop. All the last hour. heavenly!)
