Uncle Bubba was the master ballroom dance instructor during the Winter.
He not only wanted to keep up Maryn's skills but also to prepare her for the
BYU Youth ballroom tryouts.
They had their "privates" in Marty's unfinished basement
(that sounds naughty hu?)
and learned lots of good things and had some good times.
The big day came.
Maryn got permission for Merrill to be her partner during the tryouts.
He happened to know the coaches and also got some insider tips,
so they went into the tryouts confident but also knew they would have to prove themselves with some awesome dancing.
Three days later we saw the good news that Maryn made the "C Team" for the Youth Ballroom Dance Team. (as in A B C).
We were so proud.
We would expect nothing less since it's in her genes following after her 2 uncles and sister-in-law.
Way to Go Maryn!
