Our first day of Spring Break we took a trip to Salt Lake City,
went to Temple Square...
to enjoy the beautiful Spring flowers
and to meet our great friends at the new City Creek Center Shopping and then to visit the
Church History Museum.
They had a whole area focused on kids stuff where we spent the majority of the time.
I wasn't surprised that the girls loved dressing up
but
I was absolutely shocked that Kaden couldn't get enough of doing the Mexican dancing.
(they had a screen with a guy and girl dancing that played over and over and over,
and the kids followed along learning a fun Mexican dance routine.)
Kaden really has some natural Latino moves.
The girls loved flapping their dresses around.
And Kaden just totally got into it.
We might see some dancing in his future.
There was a computer that had tons of art pieces to choose from,
once you picked one you used the mouse to paint the picture.
This one was actually done by someone we know. Linda Etherington who is a prominent artist in the area.
Later that night we felt special to be invited to Rebecca's birthday party at the Olive Garden with all of her family and relatives. Kaden and Christopher, the only boys had to stick together like they always have.
It was so great to see the Debenhams again. Now that they have moved from Washington, and moved closer to us, we hope to see them more often.
Love them!
