Fall Break to Zions

Our Fall Break took us to Zion's National Park.
It was beautiful
and cold.
In fact, the night that we drove into Cedar City it was windy and snowy.
Since it was dark and late we decided to eat dinner at Chuck a Rama and sleep in the nearest hotel.
It was an awesome decision because when we woke up there was snow on the ground and still windy and freezing.

But, by the time we pulled into Zion's it was a tad sunny and very beautiful!

We were there with our favorite people, the Smedleys and Lynette's parents, the Olesons.

A panoramic shot out the shuttle.

We loved being with Cambri and her mom and dad.

Ady and Maryn were hiking around and saw a hiker who walked on their tip toes.  They thought it was so weird but had to try it too but soon found out that it was quite exhausting.

Love my kids!

Love my kids!

Mark brought his bike that he rigged up and Grandpa had to try it out.

LOVE MY KIDS!!!!
The thing that still amazes us about our friendship is that Dad and John Oleson were in the same mission together then Lynette and I were on our missions together.
It's a friendship made in heaven for sure!
On top of the mountain.
Emmy and Eliza became fast best friends.
The whole goup!
Love my kids!
Grandma keeping the girls warm.

Good hikers!
Cute ones too.

So fun to be with Lynette!
Love her!

The hike was a little more treachurous than we thought.  Had McKay known it was so crazy he wouldn't have brought up his precious baby and pregnant wife.
But they made it and it was worth the view.
Maryn and Ady found a guy who had weird patches of hair on his legs.
They embarrassed me by sneaking a picture of him.

Mark being freaked out by our elevation still couldn't resist getting close to the edge.

My best boy Kado!
SO BEAUTIFUL right outside of our trailer door.
We had the yummiest Dutch Oven Dinner cook out at the park!
Oh boy, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Ice cream in town.

All the kids squished in the Smedley's pop-up for a movie.
WE loved that Merrill could sneak away from his studies in Cedar City.
Everyone did a cheer saying good-bye to him!

Once you get away,
to camp,
and be apart of nature to relax you realize that you you need to do more of it!
Zion's was so pretty with the fall leaves!
It was a great weekend for sure!
