Emmyjean

Emmy had a birthday and now is in the double digits!
Oh my goodness, NOOOOOO!!!
Stop this girl from growing!
Emmy is everything that she's always been but more of it!
She is never bored because she has so many passions and dreams and hopes and visions.
She wants to do everything and learn about everything.
She loves to spell and tell everyone what words mean.
Even on the way to school this morning she was reading something to me, stopped in the middle of the sentence and said, "Mom do you know what that word means?"  Then she told me the 2 meanings that go with that word.  (I'm so not very smart that less than 12 hours later I already forgot what the word was she was telling me about.)
Amazing for Emmy!
Emmy's room is cluttered with books... still.
The Family room is cluttered with books.
We don't have enough shelves in all the right places to take care of Emmy's books.
I need someone to hang around our house jotting down everything funny that Emmy says because to me it just becomes normal and I say, "Yes dear, now go clean your room dear."  Not even paying attention to the fabulously creative thing she just said to me.
Emmy's newest dream is to become Miss Bluffdale.  Pictures coming soon of the Pageant we went to a few weeks ago.  But, she believes she can be Miss Bluffdale as soon as she is old enough.
Even with all that she loves to do Emmy has aspirations to do even more.
She wants voice lessons, pottery lessons and horse riding lessons.
I love a girls with goals and lists of desires!
As I have been going through boxes and piles of papers and also regular house cleaning I am constantly finding papers and notebooks where Emmy has started writing stories.
She loves to write and write and write!  In an instant she will get a spark of an idea and run to grab a paper and pen then she'll write and write.
Her brain is always thinking!

Emmy is so delightful!
I can't get enough of her squishy cheeks and hugs.  She loves to play with kids of any age.  I found out yesterday that she knocks on a 13 year old YW in the neighborhood asking if she can play and then she runs across the street to see if her little 18 month old friend can play.
The world is Emmy's friend.
I love Emmy so much!  She is such a happy part of our family.
I said it last year and I'll say it again this year but Emmy is the carbonation in our family.  She's the little extra yumminess and excitement.
Love love love that girls!!!
