Harpalicious

After an 8 month vacation we finally found a harp teacher for Emmy and picked up our lessons again.
Just in time for the end of the summer recital in a lady's back yard.
There was a little patio-hut thing where they squished 8 harps into and where the harpists performed.  The audience sat outside and took pictures through the screened windows.  It was an interesting set-up but enjoyable on a Summer's evening.
Emmy did a fantastic job and I was just relieved to get her going again with a routine and practicing her harp.

(I'll just take a second here to say that the 8 months while we lived with Marty we had no lessons, no practicing, no dancing, no gymnastics, no sports.  Nothing.  For the first month or 2 it was lovely.  We had free time to enjoy life.  We had a lot of relaxing time.  Life was simple.  We only had school to focus on. BUT, soon I began having inner panic attacks because I felt like my kids were losing their skills.  They also needed a routine and structure.  Kids need to be kept busy.
Moving into our new house was awesome but we immediately got thrown into all of our lessons again.  It was great for the kids but also very busy!  I wont lie, some days I miss our simple life of having nothing to do.  Oh, those were the days.)

Anyway, Emmy's recital was lovely.
Her harp teacher is adorable.
An all girl studio too which means lots of girly things and flowers after each concert.
