Emmy writes the darndest things

Emmy has always been a note writer. Her teacher can always tell what she writes because there is so much personality in her writing. Here is a small sampling that I've saved for several months.

One day Emmy had been teased by her sisters and was really mad at them. She wrote this note, taped it to her bedroom door, closed the door and stayed in her room for a long time.

Just to translate this one. We were writing a letter to my cousin on a mission and Emmy wrote: "Dear Elder Johnson, teahc, teahc, teahc your bum off. my name is Em and I am Ellie's cosine. I like u. I esppilly like the water park. Please write back. Love, Emmy."

For some reason when the kids lose a tooth they write notes to her and put it under their pillow with their tooth. The tooth fairy always writes back too. Jeff was out of town this time and Emmy asked if she could keep her teeth to show her dad. She also wanted double the money.

She wants you to know that now that she's in the 2nd grader her spelling is MUCH better.
