Who Woulda' Thunk?

OK so this post is for my brother, Merrill (Bubba). We told him we were going to the Salmon Days Parade in Issaquah, celebrating the return of the Salmon. Bubs laughed so hard I thought he would hurt himself. He wondered if we would have a Salmon Princess. He wondered if there were people who dressed up as salmon. He wondered if cars would have salmon painted on them or if salmon would be represented in the marching folk that passed. Since I had not been to a Salmon Days Parade I couldn't answer any of his questions, but we did have lots of good laughs about the "Days" that we've heard about ... Onion Days, Strawberry Days, Beet Days, Corn Days, Rib Fest, Pomegranate Festival, Oh, and many more.
Anyway, here are the photos that proves that the Salmon Days Parade did not disappoint.

The biggest star of the show for us was Adyson and her gymnastics team.

Ady deep in thought before the parade began. Look at that cute face.
