It was a fun day to be a part of my cousin, Steve's wedding at the Bountiful Temple.
He married an adorable girl, Abbie.
A picture of some of the Matheson men.
It was nice to have my dad and his 2 brothers together. It was awesome to see my Uncle Larry whom I hadn't seen in years.
All the kids came to enjoy the temple grounds and see all the Princesses who got married that day.
Steve and his cousins.
After pictures and such we went to the Bountiful City Cemetary to see our brother, Michael's grave. It was sweet to see my children ask about him and see his tiny gravestone.
Gramps... remembered how he gave us butterscotch candy and could take his dentures out to show us. When we were little we didn't know whether to be afraid or think it was cool.
His wife whom died before Dad was born.
Grandpa and Grandma Matheson.
We had lots of good memories to share about Grandma, her laugh; her big, huge, tight hugs; holding our face in her hands and talking to us; her telling us to enjoy being young.
I miss her lots.
We went to Crown Burger for lunch, then went to Temple Square to watch the Joseph Smith movie. LOVE!
Emmy and I had to take off for her harp recital.
It was at the teacher's parent's home where there are a lot of interesting animals.
It made it fun to walk around and see everything while we were tuning harps.
This is a terrible picture but because I was busy recording it but it's the only picture I got of Emmy. Darn. It was on the back porch of a home with tons of big trees. The setting was so lovely for a harp recital.
Emmy played awesome.
Then, Emmy and I went back to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for the reception/dinner for Steve and Abbie.
We made a sparkler tunnel as they walked out to their car.
Such a fun day seeing a newly created family in the temple, remembering family who has passed on and BEING with family. Anyway you look at it: family togetherness is where it's at and made our day great!
