Summer Theater

I love that my kids enjoy theater.  In Utah it's everywhere.

 

We spent the summer going to the Scera Shell Outdoor Theater twice and the Sundance Theater.

 

Marty and Marc went with us to the Scera Shell.

Merrill was in the Sundance production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

Course we had to go.

The tractor ride up.

The whole family came to add to the fun of cheering on Merrill.

Do you recognize that girl? 

Stephanie Nielsen and her husband.  I am a fan of them.

Her brother was the director of the show... Christopher on the right.

I stood in line to go in the bathroom with her.  I wanted to say Hi to her but she was busy talking to other fans.  The thing that was so obvious to me was the Spirit that was around her.  She definitely is humble and very spiritual.  I could feel that which made it extra neat to just to see her.

He was the Preacher and a courter at the picnic.

He was a star!  And so fun to watch!

The kids loved riding the tractor down with him after. 

They think he's a kid just like them.

He really is.

Had to record the long hair that he grew at both sides of his head. 

Creepy but it was all for the role.

Without my kids, but with the rest of my family I LOVED going to see Mandy Patinkin.  This is what he looked like at the show. 

He was fabulous! 

I was always a fan of his in the movie, The Princess Bride, but after his show at BYU I LOVED him even more. 

AWESOME!!!

Maryn, Ady and Emmy fought over our tickets to the Hale Center Theater.  We only had 2 and had to share.  A couple of times I dropped off 2 kids to use the tickets and picked them up after so they could go.  Or Grandma and Grandpa would share their tickets.

 So glad they loved that experience.
