We're not done Celebrating

I can never get enough of doing "Christmasy" things. We tried to fill up each moment either being lazy or not. The Bellevue Botanical Gardens was a highlight we were told to visit... I would say it gives Temple Square a run for its money.

But it's different.
The lights are arranged like gardens/foods growing/animals etc. So colorful and creative I would say. The girls are standing in front of the Sunflower garden and grape vines.

Mom and Day standing in front of the hugely lit tree that greets you.
Lights depicting a water fountain, swans, lily pads, frogs, the whole 9 yards of a little pond scene.

We played tons of Wii... we had to try out our new games. It was fun to catch Dad having a private moment with the racing cars. In case you're wondering what that word is over the fireplace... Kigatsuku... Japanese word meaning to do something without being asked. Love that talk by Chieko Okazaki.
Mom gave us a money game, Cashflow for Kids, that was fun to play... It's supposed to teach your children to have a financial I.Q. while still having fun. I hate money and this was right on my level. I was impressed that Maryn and Ady did great and became a "Cashflow Kid" themselves.
Lots of puzzles! In honor of our Cross CountryTrip this past summer Mom got us this U.S.A puzzle.
best buddies.
It was a SAD day to have Grandma, Grandpa, Marc and Merrill go. We had the best Christmas ever with sharing it with them. (no Maryn's not in the photo)
I gave Jeff tickets to go see "White Christmas" at the 5th Avenue Theater on the 30th. It was a fabulous show!

360 days until next Christmas!
